David Continuous

Title: Hello, My name is David Continuous and I'm currently a Junior is OHS.
Background: My Ethnicity is Asian. Some schools I've attend was Lincoln Elementary School, Edna Brewer Middle School and now Oakland High School. I'm currently volunteering for a library out in Castro Valley during Tuesday for at least 1 hr, 2 hrs tops. The things i do for volunteering are usually shelving books, dvds, and help people that needed to be help.
What I want to be: When I grow up I really wanna be a Police officer because i think that line of work is really interesting and fun. Helping people is fun only when they are in a good mood and also i might be so helpful that i would get recognize for my work.
Interests: I really like running , running is my of sport. I usually run Lake Merritt every Wednesday but recently i had a lot of stuff in my hands and didn't run for a really long time. :[
I hope i run soon though. :)

Guess Who? Sharmane "Sine"

I'm a freshman at Oakland High School. And i have went to Edna Brewer Middle School and Bella Vista Elementary. And to those who don't know, I'm Filipino.
Recently I joined this program called AYPAL, which is an organization that basically helps stride toward helping our community and making a better, more equal future.
Also when I was in Edna Brewer I was an I.W.E. and helped around the school, and volunteered working in the cafeteria. Honestly, I'm not quite sure yet on what i want to be when i grow up. I think that it's still the time to learn from our mistakes until we reach and find what we truly want to be when we grow up. Happy. (:
Things I enjoy doing are drawing, listening to music, trying new things, facebook, and... eating.

About Me

Hello. My name is Johnny Infinity. In the past, i have attended San Antonio Preschool, Garfield Elementary, Roosevelt Middle school and now OHS. I have done tons and tons of community service/ volunteer work in the past. Services such as, serving people food, working in the kitchen, helping out at tons of festivals that have happened around the Bay Area, and even more. As of right now, i'm not really sure what i want to be when i grow up. But, i'm working on it bit by bit and hope to know by the end of this school year. One of my favorite things to do is play basketball. It is one of my favorite sport and always up for any challenge. Another hobby is Lion Dancing. I have been in it since my Junior year and right now, i am President of Lion Dance. Thats all i have to say about myself.

John Variable

My name is John Variable and I am a sophomore at Oakland High. I went to Jefferson from Preschool(?) - 2nd grade after that I went to Franklin until i graduated. I went to Roosevelt for middle school at currently at Oakland High right now. I had done one volunteer work with a small group of people since it was required. We basically helped cleaned dishes, pass food, make drinks, and help the people. It was really fun even though it was a few hours.I wanted to work at Ebayc with my friend but I didn't get accepted or did but never showed up. It could have been full since I only chose one school for Ebayc. I don't really know what I want to be when I grow up, but I like mechanics plus I can fix some things like controllers. I like to play a lot of video games so I'm used to playing most games that I find interesting.

Michael Negative

My name is Michael Negative. I attended OIS (Oakland International School) for first grade, then I transferred to La Esculita for 2nd grade. For 3rd grade I transferred to Cleveland and finished Elementary there. For middle school I attended Edna Brewer Middle School. For 9th grade I transferred to the San Leandro District and attended San Leandro High School. Then I transferred back to the Oakland District for 10th grade.

Min Ying Zero

My name is Min Ying. The schools I have attended were La Escuelita Elementary School, Westlake Middle School, and I'm now a 9th grader in Oakland High. I haven't had a job yet. I think I want to be a children nurse when I'm an adult, but right now I just want to focus my goal on going to university after graduating from high school. My favorite thing to do is tutoring my cousin's child.

My name is Ashley Squared. I'm currently a junior at Oakland High. I attended Garfield for elementary school & Roosevelt for middle school. I was part of a program called AYPAL, which stands for Asian Pacific Islander Youth Promoting Advocacy & Leadership. It's a program where youth work together to fight for social justice. When I grow up, I want to be a pediatrician. Since I adore kids, I think that it'll be a perfect role for me. I love baking, just for the fun of it. I also like to eat. Well, who doesn't?

Donald Polygon

My name is Donald Sun. I attended Lincoln Elementary and Edna Brewer middle school. Last year I attended Aypal the whole year, which gave me about 80 hours of community service. I'm not sure if thats alot or not.. Aypal is basically a program that fights social injustice like all the -isms, Racism, Heterosexism. When I grow up, I actually want to attend UCLA hoping to major in business and financing. But since the economy in the U.S is so bad, i've been rethinking about this. If I do get into UCLA, i want to eventually be a C.E.O for a major company, or the job below the C.E.O so I dont have that much things to deal with! My hobbies are gaming and eating, because gaming satisfies everybody, simple as that. Eating, well you cant describe how well eating is, because its just that great.

Hello... I am currently atending Oakland High Scool and I am a senior. Before high school I went to Julia Morgan School For Girls which was a private middle school Before middle school I went to La Escuelita. I've never worked before but I've done some volunteer work here and there like: Alemeda County Food Bank and soup kitchens in San Fransico's Tenderloin District. When I grow up I want to be a superhero, write novels and plays, and make movies with my older sister. In my spare times i enjoy taking walks, Reading,watching Sci Fi movies and chilling out.

Wassup? My name is Emily Duh and right now i'm attending Oakland Senior High School as a Sophomore. I have attended Laruel Elementary School and Roosevelt Middle School. I never had a job, but i have done plenty of community service. I have been attending this program call AYPAL for 1 year already.When i grow up i want to be pediatrician because i LOVE working with kids. I have a lot of things i like to do, but i really enjoy dancing, shopping, and just kicking it with my friends.

During summers I sometimes volunteer at Occjcc.I helped kids in the program by teaching them and cooking for them. I also bring them to Lincoln Square Park and watch them play around. My name is Lan Denominator. I attended Manzanita elementary and Roosevelt middle school. Right now i'm attending Oakland High School and I'm a sophomore. I've never done any volunteering or worked but i did do some campus clean ups in Oakland high and I'm hoping to do more volunteering and earn more community service hours during this year. When i grow up, i want to be either a mechanical engineer or an electrical engineer but i haven't decided yet. I love playing video games and play on the computer. Sometimes i would go to the park and play some basketballs and hang out with friends.

My name is Melinda Simplify. I attended Lockwood, Horace Mann, Franklin, Hawthorne, Calvin Simmons, Roosevelt, and now Oakland high. In the summer of 2010, I worked for Landscaping at Roosevelt Middle School. I went to the workshops that were required for the job and got paid for that too. I'm in a youth group called OHSYO and we work to plan trips, do volunteer work, help EBAYC out, & learn new things. When I grow up, I want to be a nurse, but if I could achieve higher than that, a pediatrician. I enjoy eating, hanging with friends, trying new things, & blogging.

While working there, my job was to teach the students reading & comprehension skills. What I want to be when I grow?... I want to be a person working with cars, because I'm interested in cars. My Name is Thanh Quotient and The schools i have attended are Bella vista Elementary school, Roosevelt Middle School, and now Oakland High school and i have been here for 2 years. I have never had a job; however i have done 107 community service hours and most of them were informing our community members about schools and educations. I'm not for sure what i want to be when i grow up, but i have the idea of being a pharmacist in mind. The things i like to do when I have extra time is enjoy the sunlight and fresh air.

My name is Marina and this is my second year at Oakland Senior High School, my sophomore year. I went to Lincoln Elementary school, but I went to Bella Vista before I transferred there. I went to a Middle School that is located just up the hill from Oakland High school, named Edna Brewer Middle School. So far, my life is quite boring because I repeat the same routines everyday, but I'm enjoying every part of it. I'm the type of person that detest changes, I like to keep everything the same way, which means little improvement. Even though this is my sophomore year, I'm not sure where my life is heading. I change my dream jobs every year, and if you want me to list them out, it'll add up to almost 14. Right now, I want to major in history, but haven't decide what specifically. I don't volunteer or work during the school year. During the summer, I volunteered at my Middle School library. This year, I'm looking forward to more volunteering opportunities and be more active in extra curricular activities. I spend most of my time on the computer, playing video games.
