The Real world function is the types of tacos and their prices. The Domain and Independent variable is the type of taco. The Range and Dependent Variable is the price of taco. To determine how our function will fail, a person must order two or more of the same tacos. This creates a relation. A relation is the input values where there is more than one output value and a function is the input values where there is more ONLY one output value. The first graph is a function, but the second graph is a relation because two points pass through the line.
